New liposuction method with a twist: Laser Assist
The liposuction procedure has gone through a number of refinements since its introduction in the 1970’s. Until now surgeons have generally agreed that ultrasonic liposuction produces the smoothest results. The latest technique to hit the market is Laser Assisted liposuction or SmartLipo.
Cynosure has developed the SmartLipo LaserBodySulpting workstation. According to the companies web site, SmartLipo has the following benefits over conventional liposuction:
