Revolutionary “Skin Activating Liposuction” procedure announced
A popular Beverly Hills plastic surgery center recently announced a unique approach to liposuction. “Skin Activating Liposuction” is different from convertional liposuction because it addresses not only unwanted fat, but the overlying skin as well.
While traditional liposuction removes fat, skin near the treatment area can be left loose which can lessen the desired effect. The technique utilized activates the skin to help tighten the area which may result in a tauter, leaner-looking result. During the liposuction procedure, the inner side of the skin is intentionally irritated which causes it to tighten as it heals. This skin tightening combined with the removal of fat is what makes Skin Activating Liposuction so effective.
